    Power Lines

Some power lines are not insulated and are high voltage. This creates air pollution.

    Mills and Plant

Mills and plants, include paper mills, chemical plants, iron mills, steel mills, cement plants and asphalt plants, release emissions into the air causing air pollution.

     Indoor Air Pollution

Sick building syndrome (SBS) is the term used when there is indoor air pollution. This happens when there is not enough ventilation to disburse the toxic fumes from new carpet, paint and/or cleaning chemicals that are used indoors. Mold can also cause SBS.

Air pollution is caused by a wide variety of things. The earth is great at cleaning the air on its own. However, air pollution has grown so much, the earth can no longer clean all of it. This is starting to have adverse effects on the environment such as causing acid rain, smog and a wide variety of health problems.

Factories, office buildings, homes and power-generating stations burn fossil fuels, which cause air pollution. The burning of oil and coal (fossil fuels) also contributes to smog. This air pollution destroys plants, damages buildings and creates oxidation on iron.

       Fertilizer Dust

Dust from fertilizers used to help plants grow causes air pollution.

     Mining Operations

Mining causes air pollution by releasing a variety of particles.

     Combustion Engine Exhaust

Cars, trucks, jet airplanes and other combustion engine vehicles cause air pollution. The exhaust from these contains carbon monoxide, nitrous oxide and gaseous oxide. This type of air pollution creates smog (as seen in Los Angeles) which causes respiratory health problems and holes in the ozone layer, which increases the exposure to the sun's harmful rays.

     Radioactive Fallout

Radioactive fallout causes air pollution from the nuclear energy dispersed, which is a dust.

     Pesticides

Pesticides used to kill indoor and outdoor pests, insecticides used to kill insects and herbicides use to kill weeds all cause air pollution.

      Petroleum

Petroleum refineries release hydrocarbons and various particulates that pollute the air.

Primary air pollutants are the ones that are emitted directly into the atmosphere by the sources . such as power-generating plants

SECONDARY

Secondary air pollutants are the ones that are formed as a result of reactions between primary pollutants and other elements in the atmosphere. such as ozone.

Solver Air Polution

Avoid Second-Hand Smoke – Passive smoke is produced by smokers but can harm non-smokers as well.  Try to avoid areas that are filled with smoke and ask smokers to smoke outdoors.      Check For Radon – Radon arises naturally from the ground and could cause fatal lung cancer.  Purchase a testing kit to find out if the radon level in your home is dangerously high.      Don't Smoke – When you smoke, you not only harm yourself but also create problems for other people's health.      Don't Use Wood Stoves – Wood stoves emit large amounts of CO indoors.  This can build up in your home and create a dangerous health risk.     Drive Less – Cars are one of the largest sources of air pollution.  You should carpool or take public transportation whenever possible.     Have Plants – Plants can absorb some dangerous chemicals that are polluting your air.  In doing so, they reduce your risk of getting sick.     Look For Asbestos – Many old homes still contain asbestos from when they were built.  Asbestos can get into your lungs, stomach, and chest, causing problems that can prove fatal.  As a result, you should look around your home for asbestos that is crumbling or loose and remove it.      Minimize Air Conditioning – If you can avoid air-conditioning, do so.  By keeping windows and shades shut, you may be able to avoid needing air conditioning, which will mean using less energy.      Use Efficient Appliances – To cut down on energy usage, buy energy-efficient home appliances.  Less energy usage will not only decrease pollution, it will decrease your energy bill too.     Watch Out For Formaldehyde – Don't buy products containing formaldehyde because it can enter the air and cause chronic respiratory problems.                                                  thank you , maybe useful :D

Cabe Jawa

Bentuk tanamannya seperti sirih, merambat, memanjat,    membelit, dan melata.

Bentuk batang bulat dan besar, berdiameter ± 5-7cm, panjang ruas batang utama 2,93-9,82 cm, warna batang bervariasi dari hitam, coklat, sampai coklat kehitaman.

Bentuk daunnya berbentuk bulat, lebar dan lanset. Pangkal daun berbentuk jantung atau membulat, ujung daun runcing dengan bintik-bintik kelenjar. Daun Cabe Jawa umumnya berwarna hijau sampai hijau tua.

Bentuk buahnya majemuk bulir, bentuknya bulat panjang atau silindris, dan ujungnya mengecil. Buah yang belum tua berwarna kelabu, kemudian menjadi hijau, selanjutnya kuning, merah, serta lunak. Rasanya pedas dan tajam aromatis.

Perbanyakan/ Reproduksi

Perbanyakan tanaman cabe Jawa dapat dilakukan  dengan   penanaman stek batang yang sudah cukup tua atau biji.

Manfaat

Cabe Jawa banyak digunakan sebagai bahan pembuatan jamu tradisional dan obat pil/kapsul modern serta bahan campuran minuman. Di Madura cabe jawa digunakan sebagai ramuan penghangat badan yang dapat dicampur dengan kopi, teh, dan susu.

Cabe Jawa memiliki khasiat sebagai obat sakit perut, masuk angin, beri-beri, rematik, tekanan darah rendah, kolera, influenza, sakit kepala, lemah syahwat, bronkitis, dan sesak napas.

Rosiana Silalahi

Rosiana Silalahi yang memiliki nama lengkap Rosiana Magdalena Silalahi (lahir di Pangkal Pinang, Bangka Belitung, 26 September 1972 umur 38 tahun) adalah presenter berita dan Pemimpin Redaksi Liputan 6 SCTV.

Bungsu dari lima bersaudara pasangan L.M. Silalahi (alm) dan Ida Hutapea ini menggeluti dunia jurnalistik sejak di bangku SMA. Waktu sekolah di SMA Ursula, Rosi mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler majalah dinding dan aktif di majalah sekolah, Serviant.

Selepas SMA, Rosi mengikuti seleksi penerimaan mahasiswa baru perguruan tinggi negeri. Sayangnya, Rosi gagal diterima di Jurusan Komunikasi FISIP Universitas Indonesia (UI) dan diterima di pilihan kedua, Jurusan Sastra Jepang Fakultas Sastra UI. Meski demikian, keinginannya untuk menjadi wartawan tak pernah pupus.

Usai meraih gelar sarjana, Rosi mengirimkan lamaran kerja ke TVRI yang sedang membuka lowongan. Sempat bekerja di perusahaan periklanan selama beberapa bulan, Rosi akhirnya dipanggil untuk menjalani tes di TVRI dan diterima sebagai reporter. Di sinilah awal karier yang membesarkan nama Rosi. Kesempatan datang di tahun 1999, saat Liputan 6 SCTV mencari reporter dan presenter baru. Rosi diterima dan setahun kemudian mulai tampil di belakang meja siar sebagai pembaca berita, meski tugas sebagai reporter tetap dijalani.

Karier Rosi mulai menanjak setelah Ira Koesno dan Arief Suditomo hengkang dari SCTV. Rosi menjadi salah satu dari 6 jurnalis TV dari Asia yang mendapat kesempatan mewawancarai secara eksklusif Presiden AS George Bush di Gedung Putih Washington DC, Amerika Serikat pada 2003. Nama Rosi melejit setelah mendapat gelar Pembawa Acara Talk Show Terfavorit dan Pembawa Acara Berita/Current Affair Terfavorit versi Panasonic Award 2004. Setahun kemudian, Rosi juga mendapat gelar terfavorit untuk kategori Presenter Berita (Curent Affairs) dalam ajang Panasonic Award 2005 yang diselenggarakan bulan Desember 2005. Sebelum itu, di bulan November 2005, Rosi diberi kepercayaan untuk menjabat sebagai pemimpin redaksi Liputan 6. Saat Pemilu 2004, Rosi memproduksi program ‘Kotak Suara' yang membahas mengenai money politics sehingga ia memenangkan penghargaan ‘Indonesia Journalist Board' di tahun 2004. Di tahun 2007, Rosi kembali menyabet gelar Pembawa Acara Berita/Current Affair Terfavorit di ajang Panasonic Award 2007.

Rosi dipersunting Dino Gregory Izaak di Gereja Katedral, Lapangan Banteng, Jakarta Pusat pada tanggal 30 Juli 2005.
